Like other vacation spots in Switzerland, the Ormonts valley has inspired many painters who have stayed there since the 19th century.

Like other vacation spots in Switzerland, the Ormonts valley has inspired many painters who have stayed there since the 19th century.
Known or unknown, popular or forgotten, they observed the landscape in their own way and chose to restore on canvas all the places they appreciated. If the Diablerets massif particularly inspired them, other themes, linked to nature or peasant life, are also represented there.
