February 2017 - April 2017
Dr. Pascal Gertsch, General Practitioner in Diablerets, now retired, has traveled to Mongolia six times.
He brought back captivating photographs which have just been published by Éditions Favre in an imposing work “Mongolia, my love”. The pictures exhibit a country of not only intoxicating and disproportionate immensity, but also intense and complicit encounters with its inhabitants. Ormonts Photographer, Christophe Racat, has been traveling the Ormonts valley for more than 25 years from the bottom of Grande Eau to the summit of Diablerets, via Cape aux Moines. His images show the mountain from unexpected angles. They reveal a curious, knowledgeable and sensitive look at nature, daily life and mountain heritage.
